Texas man arrested for alleged South Carolina ATM theft

A Texan man was arrested after allegedly stealing cash from a Wells Fargo ATM in Belton, South Carolina. During the incident, deputies from the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office found the ATM had been broken into, and a large amount of cash had been removed, according to a report by WYFF 4.
It is unknown how much money was stolen from the ATM or how it was broken into. Authorities later identified Marlo Andrew Theriot as a suspect and he was served a warrant for safecracking, grand larceny of $10,000 or more and malicious damage to property valued at more than $10,000.
He was arrested and extradited to Anderson County, where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
