Nearly 100 illegal aliens were captured on Monday in the joint deportation operation from the Department of Homeland Security and the Texas Department of Public Safety inside Colony Ridge, the massive Texas development that The Daily Wire exposed as a magnet for illegal aliens.
Border czar Tom Homan described Monday’s actions as “phase one” of a “larger criminal investigation.” He also highlighted the number of criminal illegal aliens inside Colony Ridge.
“This is something a little different today,” Homan said to Fox News. “You know, this is a larger criminal investigation into a network. And a lot of the people we were interested in were located in that area.”
