Man arrested after burglary spree in Bexar County—
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A man was apprehended following a series of burglaries in the 14000 block of Guadalupe Pass, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
On February 2, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM, deputies responded to reports of a burglary in the area. Witnesses reported seeing a male suspect, identified as De La Garza, jumping fences and leaving a tote bag at one location. He was seen holding an item allegedly taken from a residence, stated the sheriff’s office.
Deputies confirmed a burglary at a residence where items had been moved and a tablet was stolen. De La Garza was found in possession of the tablet and other stolen items, including jewelry. When approached by deputies, he attempted to flee by jumping a fence.
