Bryce Dallas Howard played Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3, and that meant she was present during one of the most infamous moments in superhero movie history: the “emo Peter” jazz club scene. Now she’s opened up about the filming of it.
While appearing on Happy Sad Confused With Josh Horowitz, Horowitz brought up Howard’s role in the third Sam Raimi Spider-Man film. He pointed out that “it’s not usual for a Spider-Man film to have an extended dance sequence in a jazz club,” – Spider-Man 3 actually has several dance sequences in fact, further setting it apart from what audiences expected – and asked Howard what she thought.
