Police investigate deadly stabbing of Texas woman; suspect in custody

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A woman in her 30s was killed Tuesday morning in Northeast El Paso, and police say they have a suspect in custody.
According to the El Paso Police Department, a woman was stabbed to death at the 4980 block of Sean Haggerty Drive, the Patriot Palms apartments near US-54.
The identity of the woman has not been released; police are only saying she is in her mid 30s.
Likewise, police said they have a suspect in custody, again saying only that it’s another woman, also in her mid 30s.
police said the woman was first rushed to the hospital but then succumbed to her injuries.
Investigators have closed off the apartments.
Police said the investigation and closure will go on until nightfall, but said that officers will work to help residents arriving home.
Investigators don’t believe anyone else is in danger.
