East Texas woman remembered by family for kindness, love after Highway 155 crash

PALESTINE — A Palestine family is remembering the life of 63-year-old Cynthia Donnell, one of five people killed in a head-on crash along Highway 155 near Flint last Thursday.

Donnell’s family says she was someone who always made sure the people around her felt loved.

Her sister, Valerie Cook, described Donnell as a kind-hearted person who gave to others, even when she had little to give herself.
