Woman kills family member accused of trying to stab her grandchildren—
MARLIN, Texas (KWTX/Gray News) – A Texas grandmother shot and killed a relative who allegedly tried to stab her two grandchildren, according to KWTX.
The Marlin Police Department was called to a home on Fuschie Street early May 21 for reports of a disturbance. Officers found three people who had been stabbed. One of the three was also shot.
All three were taken to area hospitals and were reportedly in stable condition.
The suspect was shot and died at the scene, police said.
A family member told KWTX that the suspect began stabbing two children when the grandmother stepped in to protect them.
Police had not yet confirmed what led up to the stabbing.
