Texas man identified as victim in fatal Interstate 49 crash

SHREVEPORT, La. — Authorities have identified a Texas man who died following a collision involving two commercial trucks last Friday.
Bernard Krause, 58, of Cameron, Texas, was a passenger in one of the 18-wheelers involved in the wreck.
The crash occurred just before 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Interstate 49 and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Officials ordered an autopsy following the incident.
The Shreveport Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
