Dallas police detained a masked man who reportedly entered Marriott Dallas Uptown – hosting Paxton’s primary watch party – after 6 p.m. on March 3, according to online influencer Alexander Muse, who goes by @amuse.
The suspect was reportedly wearing camouflage and carrying a rucksack, and police found ammo in his vehicle.
Investigators called a supervisor and detained the suspect outside for questioning. He reportedly had no ID or license plates. One officer allegedly suggested an affiliation with the radical DFW group John Brown Gun Club, an Antifa cell tied to the July 2025 assault on an ICE facility in Alvarado.
