Houston woman charged with criminal trespass after jumping balconies, attempting burglary—
HOUSTON, Texas — A 28-year-old woman was charged with criminal trespass after allegedly jumping from a balcony and attempting to enter an apartment without consent.
Deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 2 responded to a suspicious person call on February 17, 2026, at 8625 Winkler Drive in Houston. Upon arrival, they were informed by apartment management that a female had been seen jumping from a balcony and trying to enter an apartment without the owner’s permission.
The suspect, identified as Fant Jomecia, was located and detained without incident, according to a press release from the department.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of criminal trespass against Jomecia. She was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Jail, where she was booked without incident.
