DALLAS, Texas — Firefighters rescued two individuals from a burning home on Modella Avenue Tuesday night, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
At 8:52 p.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue units responded to a 911 call reporting a structure fire at a one-story residence in the 3100 block of Modella Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire coming from the front of the home. Initial reports indicated that two people were trapped inside, prompting immediate rescue efforts.

Firefighters successfully rescued a woman and a man from the residence. Both were transported to a local hospital after suffering smoke exposure. The woman was reported to be in stable condition, while the man was in critical condition and required CPR during transport. His current condition remains unknown.
The fire was quickly extinguished, with an “out taps” declared at 9:20 p.m. No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, stated the Dallas Fire-Rescue.
