Texas man convicted of strangling two women in Douglas County—
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A Douglas County Jury convicted a 39-year-old man of attacking two women in Highlands Ranch.
According to the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Zebediah Joseph Scales, a Texas resident, was at the home of a woman he was dating on Nov. 2, 2024.
The DA said Scales barged into the bathroom and accused the woman of cheating on him, before dragging her out of the bathtub.
When the woman’s friend intervened, the DA said Scales threw the second woman to the ground and grabbed both women around the throat in an attempt to strangle them before one of the victims called 911.

Scalesreportedlytoldthedeputyhedidnotknowwhathappenedandhadbeenasleepatthetimeoftheassault.
