PARIS, Texas — Detectives from the Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force, in coordination with the McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office, successfully located a suspect involved in a school burglary and vehicle theft on January 10. The suspect was found in possession of stolen property and a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, both taken from McCurtain County, Oklahoma. The task force, working alongside Paris Patrol Officers, identified and apprehended the suspect, according to a press release from the Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force. The stolen property was returned to the school, highlighting the effective collaboration between agencies across state lines, stated the task force.
