Texas Department of Public Safety reports significant monthly results from Operation Lone Star—
AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) has announced the latest monthly results of its continued border security operations under Operation Lone Star, spanning from November 28, 2025, to January 2, 2026.
The operations led to 344 criminal arrests and the apprehension and referral of 547 illegal immigrants.
The initiative also resulted in 36 vehicle pursuits and the seizure of 254 pounds of marijuana and 660 pounds of cocaine, according to Texas DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez in a post on X.
Additionally, 14 firearms were confiscated during the operations. Surveillance cameras along the border captured groups of illegal immigrants attempting to evade law enforcement while crossing between ports of entry, highlighting the ongoing commitment to public safety and border security under Operation Lone Star.
