Woman held in fatal stabbing in Dallas’ Red Bird area, police say—

A 32-year-old woman was arrested in a fatal stabbing in Dallas’ Red Bird area Tuesday, Dallas police said in a statement.
Alexandria Hubbard was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force and faces a murder charge, according to the statement.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Hubbard remained in the Dallas County jail with no bond amount set, jail records show. It was unclear whether she had been assigned an attorney.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4600 block of South Hampton Road about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. Preliminary information showed that Jerrian Jones, 32, had been shot.

After further investigation, police determined Jones had actually been stabbed in the 2100 block of W. Ledbetter Drive.
He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
No further information about the incident was immediately available.
