Texas man booked for assault in Creston—
(Creston) — A Texas man was arrested on an assault charge in Creston early Friday morning.
The Creston Police Department says 28-year-old Marco Antonio Trevino Solis Jr of La Joya, Texas was arrested shortly before 5:50 a.m. for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness. Authorities say the arrest occurred at 800 Laurel Street.
Solis Jr was taken to the Union County Jail and later released after posting $1,000 cash or surety bond.
