Dallas woman killed in parking lot of Malibu Jack’s in North Richland Hills identified—

A 21-year-old woman has been identified as the person who was fatally shot at Malibu Jack’s in North Richland Hills on Sunday.
DaShayla Jones of Dallas was shot and killed around 12:14 a.m. in the 8600 block of Airport Freeway, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
Jones died in the parking lot of the business, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. Detectives determined an altercation between several people happened before the shooting, police said.
Two North Richland Hills officers were working off duty near the scene at the time of the shooting, police said. One of the officers returned fire at the suspects, police said.

A 23-year-old man was also shot, police said. He was taken to a hospital and was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Three 18-year-olds have been arrested in connection with the shooting.
