Texas Man Caught While Transporting Hundreds Of Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Cocaine—
Packages filled with cocaine (Credit: Image via CBP)A Texas man was detained while carrying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine inside a vehicle, authorities said.
Concretely, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Los Indios International bridge port of entry referred a car driven by a San Benito resident for a secondary inspection.
There, they discovered 19 packages containing almost 43 pounds of alleged cocaine, a press release by the agency said. The drugs have an estimated worth of more than $572,000.
