The parents of Ethan Chapin, who was among four University of Idaho students killed in an off-campus residence in 2022, are speaking out after Bryan Kohberger pleaded guilty to their murders earlier this month in a deal that evaded a potential death penalty at trial.
Stacy and Jim Chapin spoke in an exclusive NBC News interview that aired July 14 on TODAY, after sharing their story in a Prime Video docuseries “One Night in Idaho: The College Murders.” They spoke to NBC News’ Liz Kreutz about other victims’ families criticizing Kohberger’s plea deal.
