Thereport,whichevaluatesearlychildhoodeducationineachstate,saidatotalof248,371childrenwereenrolledinpreschoolinTexasforthe2023-24schoolyear,butU.S.Censusdataestimatesthereareslightlyfewerthantwomillionchildrenundertheageof5inthestate.
