Accordingtoanewsrelease,anofficerinitiatedatrafficstopatabout12:37a.m.attheintersectionofC.F.HawnFreewayandNorthJimMillerRoadafterrunningthelicenseplateonavehicleandfindingahitfortwooutstandingfelonywarrants.Thewarrantswereforaggravatedsexualassaultandburglarywithintent,thereleasesaid.
Atthesceneofthetrafficstop,thedrivercomplainedofchestpain,accordingtotherelease.Atabout1:48a.m.,theofficercalledDallas-FireRescuetoexaminetheman.
DFRexaminedandmedicallyclearedtheman,andhewastransportedtotheSoutheastpatrolstationtobeinterviewed,thereleasesaid.Whilewalkingintotheinterviewroom,themantoldofficershewasfeelingill.
