East Texas man gets 13 years in federal prison in fentanyl case

An East Texas man will spend 13 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas Nicholas J. Ganjei announced.

John Earl Edwards, 46, of Texas City, pleaded guilty Sept. 24, 2024, according to a news release Tuesday.
