New York City singer JMarie kicked off the auditions on the March 30 episode of “Idol” by telling Underwood and fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan that she chose Underwood’s 2006 country music hit — which tells the story of a woman taking revenge on a potentially unfaithful partner — because it was a “hood anthem.”
